A modern large-scale shipyard and 4,500 modern people are transported to a parallel world version of the year 1671, during the Age of Great Navigation, and arrive in Australia.

Armed with modern technology and values, these transmigrators will come into conflict with the early Qing Dynasty under Emperor Kangxi, Charles II’s Britain, Louis XIV’s France, the Dutch Republic in its maritime Golden Age, the Ottoman Empire spanning Asia, Europe, and Africa, and the eastward-expanding Russian Tsardom.
