Good book Weird ending Hoping for more

It is really good BUT it seems like’s ending is either the open ending type or it is only the first volume of the strory.

Really good story but it just kinda ends after finishing a minor arc at one point leaving you just wanting to know the rest of the sorry and if the main character ever really "saves the world" and finishes his overall quest
