Ered Young, who came from the slums, applied to the Redstone Academy.

It was the Empire’s finest military institution—one that did not discriminate based on origin.

A stipend for maintaining one’s dignity, high-quality steaks. Every expense necessary for cadet training was fully covered by the Empire.

And so, even the most brutal and grueling training could be endured… all to become a Prominence.

At last, after passing the examinations, Ered underwent the implantation of a mana stone infused with crimson power, embedding it as a second heart, and was officially recognized as a Prominence.

He had become a true hound of the Empire, swearing absolute loyalty.

However, as he carried out his missions, he gradually uncovered the Empire’s hidden schemes… and began to stand against them.
