One day, as she was clearing a high-difficulty dungeon, a party of players approached. Desperate to avoid any conversation, she annihilated the entire party with her sniper rifle.

The next day—for some reason, a group of 14 players showed up at the dungeon, her personal hunting ground.

Driven by her intense desire to be left alone, Rei wiped them all out. But then, the next day, an even larger group appeared. Rei killed that group, too, and continued to annihilate every new group that arrived day after day.

As a result, the players nicknamed her "Abyss Hawk," and she became infamous, recognized by all as a raid boss.

Having unintentionally drawn so much attention to herself, Rei quit "GunFight On-line." While wondering what to play next, her younger sister recommended a "god-tier" game, the massively popular "Infinity Space." With a player base of 35 million, it was an "overpopulated" game—the polar opposite of what she wanted. Terrified, but still drawn in by the gameplay, she cautiously begins to play "Infinity Space."

She can't talk to people properly. She freezes up from anxiety in front of crowds. She's monumentally unlucky. Despite being burdened with these handicaps, this gloomy high school shut-in uses her incredible player skills—the very sniping ability that turned her into a raid boss—to dominate her foes. It doesn't matter if it's a "god-tier" game. "Abyss Hawk" will keep on shooting until she is the victor... and still all alone.
